Tom Hooper

A quick history of Tom's illustrious music career: First band was a punk band called Gentlemen of Horror, recorded a 7 inch 5 song EP in 1980 (at age 14). Next band was the Grapes of Wrath. They were a Beatlish, British new wavey, folky band (that’s his description anyway). One of the first signings to the Vancouver indie label Nettwerk produced and later signed with Capitol/EMI Records. Released four albums and one e.p. from 1984 to 1992. Two of the albums went platinum, one gold, had a bunch of hit singles and videos. The next band, Ginger, released two critically acclaimed albums and an EP from 1993 to 1996. Got back with ex-grape bandmate Kevin Kane and released another Grapes of Wrath album in 2000. Record company goes bankrupt after the release. Decided to pack it in again. Have since released the solo albums “Tom’s Journey Through The Solar System”,”Basement Suite” and “Songs From The Trailer”, all available on iTunes.
